Tracie Lizama

SENIOR ENROLLMENT ASSOCIATE; MAIN OFFICE MANAGER/EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT  |  TLIZAMA@YORK.ORG

Tracie Lizama brings a deep passion for guiding students and families through the admissions process at York School. With over twenty years of experience in office management and executive support, she has spent the last six years immersed in private school admissions, most recently as Admissions Coordinator at Notre Dame High School in Salinas.

Tracie is dedicated to making the admissions journey welcoming and seamless, helping families navigate applications, interviews, and the many opportunities that a private school education offers. She thrives on connecting with students and families, ensuring they feel supported from their first inquiry to their first day on campus. Her expertise extends to enrollment strategy, event planning, and fostering strong relationships with faculty and staff—all with the goal of building a vibrant, engaged school community.

A Monterey Peninsula native, Tracie spent many years in Portland, Oregon, before returning to her beloved hometown in 2015. When she’s not shaping the future of York’s student body, she enjoys visiting her two adult children—both professional writers in Oregon—walking the beach, and tending to her garden. A devoted reader and writer, she also loves poetry, creative storytelling, and game nights with family and friends.
